Brief recommendations for the design of manuscripts for publication in Russian and foreign scientific journals

When preparing scientific articles for publication, the author must fulfill certain requirements set by the journal for the content and design of manuscripts. Each journal has its own rules for the authors of articles, but there are a number of general recommendations for all publications.

The structure of an article in a scientific journal consists of several blocks:

Block 1 – (in Russian). Title of the article, names of authors, affiliation, i.e. belonging to a scientific organization (full legal name of the organization, postal address of the organization), then the e-mail address of the author responsible for contacts, annotation (author's summary), author's keywords.

Block 2 – (in English). Transliteration and translation of all block 1 data into English in the same sequence: the title of the article in English, the names of the authors in Latin (transliteration), the name of the organization, the address of the organization, annotation, keywords in English.

Block 3 - the full text of the article in the original language (Russian), formatted in accordance with the requirements of the journal.

Block 4 – list of references in Russian (title "References list").

Block 5 - a list of references in English (title "References").

Authors-employees of USPTU are subject to requirements that compulsorily must be observed when preparing a scientific article for publication:

• In the affiliation (place of work or place of research) of the author, it is necessary to indicate full information about the university, avoiding errors and discrepancies:
