Our university has a seventy-year history. Over the years, the Ufa Oil Institute, and then the University, has trained more than one hundred thousand highly qualified specialists for the fuel and energy and construction sectors of our country and abroad.

USPTU was one of the first oil and gas universities in Russia to certify the quality management system for compliance with ISO 9001 requirements.

The activities of the university are characterized by long-term and versatile cooperation with the leading enterprises of the fuel and energy complex. With many of them, complex agreements and cooperation agreements have been concluded that provide for the implementation of research work, preliminary distribution of graduates, provision of places for students to practice, social support for students and financial assistance to the university.

The University successfully cooperates with state authorities and local governments, the business community (enterprises and organizations of the fuel and energy and construction complexes) on the following issues:

• pre-university training of applicants and career guidance;
• training of bachelors, specialists and masters, including within the framework of targeted contract training;
• professional retraining and advanced training of personnel;
• training of highly qualified personnel in postgraduate and doctoral studies of the university.

Complex contracts USPTU

The Comprehensive Cooperation Agreement contains the obligations of the parties to cooperate in the following areas:

• pre-university training of applicants, organized by the enterprise (organization);
• training of specialists (bachelors, masters) with higher professional education in the framework of targeted contract training or on a paid basis;
• obtaining additional professional education, professional retraining, advanced training;
• training of highly qualified personnel in postgraduate and doctoral studies;
• performance of scientific research (R & D, testing, implementation) and scientific and technical services;
• improvement of the content and methods of educational work, the organization of real course and diploma design, all types of student practices;
• improvement of the material and technical base of the university;
• assistance in the distribution and employment of university graduates;
• development of cooperation in the social sphere;
• other areas of cooperation.
